Important Information

  • You’ll be provided with a full wetsuit, helmet and harness; bring a bathing suit, towel, a small lunch or snacks and plenty of water.
  • Wear fully closed footwear - running or light hiking shoes that can get wet are required; water shoes or Keen-style sandals are not acceptable.
  • Not recommended if you have spinal injuries or are pregnant; participants should have at least moderate physical fitness. Minimum age 14 and maximum waist size 42.

Summary: My dad and I had a great time with this experience. Our guide Robyn was amazing and knowledgeable! She ensured our safety and answered any questions we had. Highly recommend if you’re into active tour. Also the view of the canyon was amazing! Would love to do similar tour again with this company in the future when we come back to the Banff area.

You’ll experience slides, rappels, small jumps and some light swimming as you canyon through scenic gorges in the Canadian Rockies. Tours are guided for fun and safety by CGI- or ACA-certified guides, and are tailored so you have the best time while staying secure on the route.
The tour includes a full wetsuit, helmet and harness plus a professional guide. You should bring a bathing suit, towel, fully closed footwear (running or light hiking shoes that can get wet), a small lunch or lots of snacks and water, and allow for gratuities. Water shoes and keen-style sandals are not suitable.
All guides are certified by CGI or ACA-recognized North American canyoning associations-so you’ll be led by professionals trained in techniques for rappelling, navigating slides and managing light swimming sections while keeping guest safety a priority.
When you drive to the tour from Canmore, Banff or Jasper you’ll have the opportunity to see spectacular sights along the Icefields Parkway. Abraham Lake is only about 30 minutes from the park boundary, making the tour an ideal adventure break on the drive between Banff and Jasper.
Tours accept participants from a minimum age of 14 and are Group-Friendly, but you should be aware of fitness and size limits.
